Hi my name is Kristina, I have been working at MedNow for over 9 years. There are many aspects of my job at MedNow
all in which I love.
First and foremost, as the Office Administrator, it is my job to ensure that our patients received
the best possible health-care. Working with the staff on procedures that lead to great customer service and efficiency. Also
helping to resolve any problems that are brought to our attention through customer feedback. It is our goal to provide safe
and convenient health-care to the families of Downeast Maine for many years to come and we know in order for us to achieve
this our patients must be satisfied with care that they receive from us.
Second, I am also responsible
for ensuring that all the services that are provided to our patients are billed accurately. Having become a licensed Medical
Coder in January of 2004, I have been well educated through the American Academy of Professional Coders and continue
my education constantly, due to the ever-changing rules for providing health care services. By staying educated
in this field I am able to ensure that we arebilling for the services we provide accurately and helping our patients
receive the maximum benefits from their insurance and not pay for avoidable errors. Whether you have insurance or not you
can be sure that you are receiving the maximum care for your hard earned money.
Third, due to tough times, I am also
privileged to be able to help some of our patients whom are unable to pay for their prescription medications. Working
with the manufactures that supply the medication, we are often able to help our patients get these medicines for
little to no out of pocket cost.Ensuring that our patients receive the medicines that are needed to achieve the health
they need and deserve.
We have been very fortunate to serve the Downeast Maine Community for over 25 years
